A tall palm tree that produces coconuts
The Coconut Palm, scientifically known as Cocos Nucifera, is a tall and slender tree that belongs to the Arecaceae family. The tree can grow up to a height of 30 meters, but the average height ranges from 1.2 to 4.0 meters.
The Coconut Palm has a single, straight trunk that is grayish-brown in color and is marked with rings from the fallen leaves. The leaves of the tree are large and feather-like, growing up to 6 meters in length. The tree produces a large, round fruit called a coconut, which is covered in a fibrous husk and contains a hard, woody shell that encloses the edible white flesh and sweet water.

The leaves are used for thatching and weaving, and the trunk is used for construction and furniture.
